About us. Mail Boxes Etc. (MBE) was founded in 1980 in San Diego, California, and has developed over the years into the world’s largest franchise network for services in the areas of Packaging & Shipping, Graphics & Printing and Warehousing & Order Fulfillment for business and private customers.

In 2001, MBE Deutschland GmbH was founded in Berlin with licenses for Germany and Austria. Since spring 2017, the network in Austria has been managed by Dieter Baier as the master licensee.
