Shipping from the EU to Great Britain – What you need to know

Due to the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union on January 1, 2021, customs formalities were introduced for imports from both sides. As a result, depending on the value of the goods, an online retailer or operator of an online shop platform may be required to register with the UK tax authorities for the payment of VAT.

Additionally, you must inform customs authorities, providing your EORI (Economic Operator Identification) number.
